Many people like heading out to local shopping malls, What for? To do a little browsing or pick up things they probably don't even need? If this sounds too familiar, then you need to know, that this has become a trend among millions of people all around the world.

What arouses interests among people, desperately searching for parking space and battling the endless crowds? Well apart from browsing the bright displays of the stores, many people shop purely for the social aspect. Meeting up with others to shop is quite an accepted social activity.

Another popular place to shop is Factory Outlet Malls. There you will notice a price difference between these fine establishments and the mall down the street.

Factory outlet malls are now certainly on my lists of shops to visit whenever we go shopping. The quality of good is the same as in the main stores, but factory outlets usually have out of season or discontinued stock.

When I was just a kid, my mother would take us for school shopping to the factory outlet malls. The reason behind is worthy savings involved in factory outlets. Now these days I and my wife always head out to the local factory outlet malls in search of attire for our little one. When you're buying for a small child, you are buying often. They grow and it's hard to keep up with their change. Local factory outlet malls are always cheaper and they certainly have much better sales.

While looking for T-shirts and jeans, I found “Banana Republic” at the factory outlet mall nearby and I was flabbergasted to find quality T-shirts on sale for 8 bucks a pop. Now that's called a good deal.  Many other ‘designer’ type stores or popular brand name stores all have factory outlet stores.
